About Me

A little about TL, short for Toni Lee.
I am a fifty plus year old foodie, born in Jeannette Pennsylvania, raised Italian Catholic and a huge Pittsburgh fan. I bleed Black N Gold!

I had a rich and wonderful family life, with two of the best parents anyone could ever have in their life!  I am truely blessed.  Some 30 years ago, I moved to Maryland and now reside in a modest home in Pasadena with my partner Robin and our cat ‘Chino’, she is our little Bambino.

Living in Maryland has given me a broader knowledge and understanding of food I would not have been exposed to in rural Pennsylvania and in turn rural Pa has broadened my appreciation for gardening, canning and wild edibles of all types.  My full time job requires travel, during these trips I get to explore new restaurants and cuisines, which I will share with you.  I feel my heritage and travels over the years has rounded me out and have given me an appreciation of food and unique views on many subjects

So, this Foodie is starting a blog to share my recipes and journal my adventures…and I look forward to sharing these all with you!
